Surrey Police said that no allegations of rape have been made by the glamour model and denied suggestions that officers had spoken to Price about the matter.
Yesterday, it was reported that the force had contacted Price over her accusations. However, it has now emerged that it did so following media claims that she had been visited by "bogus" police officers on Wednesday.
A spokesman told BBC News: "We can now confirm no police officers attended her address [on Wednesday], bogus or otherwise.
"No allegation of rape has been made and Miss Price will not be making a statement to police."
Earlier this week, Price told readers of her OK magazine column that she had been raped by a "famous celebrity" in her younger years.
She later claimed that she was "livid" to see her comments receiving coverage in tabloid newspapers.
