Swift 'sent flowers by Janet Jackson'

Taylor Swift has admitted that she feels "very lucky and blessed" that so many people have supported her after Kanye West interrupted her acceptance speech at the VMAs.

The country singer had just collected her award for best female video when West took the microphone and said that Beyoncé should have been given the gong.

Swift told New York radio station Z100: "Artists that I didn't even assume knew who I was [are supporting me]. I woke up the next day and I had flowers in my hotel room from Janet Jackson."

She also thanked Kelly Clarkson for being there for her after the incident, adding: "Kelly's amazing. I'd love to work with her.”

Swift has accepted Kanye's apology.
