Fielder-Civil mum: 'My son wants love'

Blake Fielder-Civil's mother Georgette Civil has revealed that her son wants Amy Winehouse's love rather than her money.

Winehouse's ex-husband dropped his demand for a divorce settlement from her last week.

Speaking to the News of the World, Civil recalled her son's feelings towards the singer: "I am not a parasite, I am not a golddigger. I've always just told her I wanted her for her love, not her money."

She also heard him say to Winehouse over the phone: "I will give up £6 million to show you how much I love you."

Civil added: "It was lovely to see them getting on so well. The conversation was so friendly and affectionate."
