Williams: 'I sat on my bum and ate'

Robbie Williams has admitted that he ate too much when he took a break from his music career.

The singer, who is releasing his comeback single 'Bodies' on October 12, said that he overate while waiting for another job to come along.

He told the News of the World: "I just sat on my arse and ATE. I was waiting on the sofa for something to happen and I wasn't very proactive about searching for this other job."

He admitted that he would choose food over sex, continuing: "If the world was going to end in three months I would gorge myself."

Williams revealed his diet secrets last month.
