The actor is moving house so that he has enough space for the pitch, AOL claims.
A source said: "He's got realtors searching the Malibu mountains for a property big enough to build his own baseball field.
"He's already put his Mulholland Estate mansion up for sale, and told pals he intends to build spacious viewing stands and a snack shack."
Sheen is said to have been inspired by Jerry Seinfeld, who has a baseball field next to his house in The Hamptons.
In August, Sheen was named the highest-paid actor on US television for the second year running.
