Amanda Holden has backed calls for families to spend more quality time together.

According to the Daily Express, the Britain's Got Talent judge spoke out after a survey revealed that half of mothers worry they are not committed enough to their children.

Holden commented: "It's not easy juggling work with family time. I sometimes feel guilty about not spending enough time with my 3-year-old daughter Lexi.

"I constantly try to make the most of every precious moment we do have."

Research conducted by games company Hasbro discovered that many mothers are concerned because they spend less than an hour per week chatting on a one-to-one basis with their children. The firm is now encouraging parents to take part in a family games night each week.

Lexi is Holden's first child with her husband Chris Hughes. The TV star recently admitted that she is currently too busy to expand her family.
