Vanessa Hudgens 'suffers from shyness'

Vanessa Hudgens has admitted that she sometimes suffers from shyness.

Despite finding worldwide success as a singer and actress, Hudgens confessed that she is not always as confident as people might expect.

"[I do get nervous] on the red carpet - all the time!" she told Shout. "Everyone's screaming your name, so I always get butterflies in my stomach.

"It totally freaks me out!"
