Lopez: 'Parenthood helped my acting'

Jennifer Lopez has credited her twins for giving her a new perspective when it comes to tackling movie roles.

The actress gave birth to Max and Emme last year, her first children with husband Marc Anthony.

Lopez has since returned to work and is currently filming The Back-Up Plan, a part that sees her play a woman who undergoes artificial insemination.

Contactmusic quotes the star as saying: "I'd done it before, I'd had children in movies. But now I have a whole new perspective. It's so totally different than you could ever imagine - what you feel and how it changes you, and how you see things."
