Jackson: 'I could have changed Hitler'

Michael Jackson told former friend Rabbi Shmuley Boteach that he could have had an impact on Adolf Hitler had they ever spoken, it has been claimed.

According to The Sun, the rabbi recorded over 30 hours of interviews with the late pop superstar during his lifetime.

On one such tape, Jackson reportedly said: "Hitler was a genius orator. To make that many people turn and change and hate, he had to be a showman and he was."

Boteach asked: "You believe that if you had an hour with Hitler you could somehow touch something inside of him?"

Jackson responded: "Absolutely. I know I could. You have to help them, give them therapy, teach them that somewhere, something in their life went wrong."

It was recently claimed that Boteach's name was one of many on a list of enemies compiled by Jackson before his death.
