John Mayer has claimed that he is successful with women because he is an "inventive lover".

The singer has been linked to a number of celebrities, including Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson.

According to The Sun, he said: "I have great balance and co-ordination.

"Inventiveness. I am a very inventive lover - that's the secret to my success."

Kristin Cavallari recently denied rumours that she is dating Mayer.
