Katona 'is trying for another baby'

Kerry Katona is trying to get pregnant again, rumours suggest.

The People claims that Katona believes having a baby will help her to get clean after she was recently filmed allegedly taking cocaine.

She reportedly told a friend: "Me and Mark are trying for another baby. I want to give up on all the drink and the drugs."

Katona was also photographed in a branch of Mothercare looking at baby clothes and patting her stomach.

"She thinks it's a great idea," a source explained. "She loves being pregnant and fussed over. And although she isn't really a hands-on mum, she loves babies. She has plenty of people round her to help and thinks it will be lovely to have another little one.

"She decided to have another baby just a few weeks after she was filmed doing cocaine. Mark said no at first but he's come round. They've been through such a rocky time he wasn't even sure if he wanted to stay married to her.

"He also told Kerry he didn't think she was strong enough emotionally to cope with being pregnant after all the dramas of the last 12 months. But Kerry has insisted that she is and now she hasn't got any work coming in, having a baby will help earn money.

"She pointed out that there will be more interest in her from companies looking for her to endorse them. And photos of her pregnant will sell too. Then once she's had the baby she will be able to do exclusive pictures and interviews in the magazines as well."

Kerry already has two daughters, Molly, 8, and Lilly-Sue, 7, from her marriage to Brian McFadden. She also has Heidi, 2, and Max, 1, with current husband Mark Croft.
