Gosselin 'is not on Facebook'

Kate Gosselin does not have a Facebook account, according to a friend of the reality star.

Several reports had suggested that the mother-of-eight was unsure about the future of her TLC reality show after a post appeared on a page that claimed to belong to her.

The message read: "With ratings falling, this might be the last season of Jon & Kate Plus 8. I'm not sure yet."

However, a friend of Gosselin told Radar Online that the account is "fake", adding: "She doesn't have [a Facebook page]. She has nothing like that."
