Courteney Cox: 'I was scared of Arquette'

Courteney Cox has said that she felt "intimidated" by husband David Arquette when they first started dating.

The Friends star, who married 38-year-old Arquette in 1999 and has 5-year-old daughter Coco with him, said that she was scared by the fact that he had more experience with relationships than she did.

According to Bang Media, Cox said: "I was intimidated by David. He has lived many, many lives I think. He is a worldly boy. He has done more things in his young years than I have in my whole life. So he taught me a lot."

Arquette recently said of his 45-year-old actress wife: "Was it love at first sight? For me it was, but not for her. I had to trick her."

He added: "We met at a pre-party before we started filming Scream. I was being a little cocky and Courteney was like, 'Ah, I've heard of you,' and we just kept flirting for a while. She's just so gorgeous and she jokes around so much."
