Messenger: 'Price must be very careful'

Melinda Messenger has said that Katie Price had her reasons for the announcement of her rape allegations in a number of magazine columns.

The presenter recently interviewed Price for an episode of recently-launched Five show Live From Studio Five.

Of Price's comments, she told Metro: "It's a tricky one. She'll have to be very careful. It's massively serious so I hope she handles it the right way.

"Kate lives her life by her rules. Personally, I think the best opportunity to discuss it may have been in an autobiography, but she has reasons."

Price has published three autobiographies to date, Being Jordan in 2004, Jordan: A Whole New World in 2006 and Jordan: Pushed To The Limit in 2008.

Her fourth, Standing Out, is due for release on October 22.
