Tori Spelling hospitalised in Los Angeles

Tori Spelling has been released from hospital after she was admitted with severe stomach pains, according to reports.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star was taken to hospital on Monday evening after complaining of abdominal pain and returned to the facility for further tests yesterday.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, a representative for the star said: "They released her last night. She wasn't feeling better so she returned to the hospital for more tests."

Her husband Dean McDermott also confirmed the treatment on his Twitter account, writing: "Tori is in the hospital now with severe stomach pains. We're trying to get her comfortable."

He later added: "Just out of the hospital. After a battery of tests, no conclusive answers. She still feels terrible. Hope it passes soon. She's in a lot of pain."

Spelling had been scheduled to host the Lambda Legal 17th Annual Liberty Awards in Hollywood last night.
