Dustin Diamond has insisted that he is not worried about bumping into his former Saved By The Bell co-stars following the release of his new tell-all book.

In the memoir, the actor alleges that Mark Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris) used steroids, as well as detailing allegations about the cast's sex lives.

Speaking to PopEater, he said: "I hope I bump into them. If you're asking me if I'm afraid, I'm more dangerous with martial arts than Mark-Paul or Mario [Lopez] ever was.

"I'm not the character Screech. The last thing they'd want to do is harm me in any way, because then that's a whole new legal battle and paparazzi thing."

He added: "I didn't write this book as a stab at everyone or anything negative... I don't throw anyone under the bus more than myself and it's an honest account at what we went through. The more upset people get, the more truthful you know it is."

Gosselaar previously dismissed the allegations against him, saying: "We weren't in rehab and Mr Belding wasn't my crack dealer."
