Will Smith to host Nobel Peace Prize

Will Smith has been confirmed to host the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Norway.

According to BBC News, the actor and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith will oversee the ceremony, which takes place in Oslo on December 11. The event will also feature appearances from Wyclef Jean, Donna Summer and Toby Keith.

The winner of this year's Nobel Peace Prize is due to be announced on October 6 and will be rewarded the day before the concert - the anniversary of founder Alfred Nobel's death.

The Smiths declared that hosting the occasion will prove to be "an awe-inspiring experience".
