The Babyshambles singer appeared in court this morning, where he pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving dangerously after a gig in June, reports NME.
Judge William Hart described the alleged offence as on the "bottom end of the scale" of dangerous driving. The trial is expected to last for two or three days.
Doherty has previously admitted to drug possession and driving without a licence and insurance.
