Carey, Cannon 'want to start family'

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon have admitted that they would like to have children.

The couple, who own homes in LA and New York, said that they are unable to agree on where is best for their offspring to grow up.

"Definitely, we want a family... but don't think I'm moving to LA," Carey told In Touch.

Cannon continued: "We live in both places. We need to figure out where we are going to raise our kids. Here (New York) or LA. We'd like two [children]."

"Of course, we'd be happy with one," added the singer. "I want to be able to manage the right amount of attention. We are so busy - if you have six kids running around, no-one gets what they need. Kids need a lot of attention."

Carey went on to insist that she is not worried about gaining baby weight, saying: "I'd be fine with it. I'm not one of those people who is usually a size two to start with and gets scared they will end up a size three."
