Garner: 'I lie every day'

Jennifer Garner has admitted she is not averse to telling the odd lie.

According to Contactmusic, the Invention Of Lying actress has claimed that people do not always want to hear the truth.

She stated: "I would not even attempt to go one day without lying. What if someone asks you how you are and you have to stop and tell them how you are really feeling? You would never get through the day. No, I have to lie. I think we all do."

However, Garner - who has two daughters with husband Ben Affleck - revealed she is not always the best at hiding the truth.

"I am a horrible liar. I can't do it. Even if I have your birthday present and your birthday is not until November and I get a present, I have to tell you. I can keep a secret if you need me to, but otherwise, it doesn't work out. But I would lie to save somebody's feelings," she stated.
