Cheryl: 'I still don't trust Ashley'

Cheryl Cole has revealed that she still finds it hard to trust her husband Ashley, following allegations that the footballer was unfaithful to her.

The X Factor judge told The Sunday Times that there are very few individuals she feels she can rely on.

She stated: "I've come to the conclusion that I don't trust anybody in life except my mother and my dogs.

"I'm scared to let people know how much they mean to me and it's scary that you can love a small hairy thing so much."

However, the Girls Aloud member went on to describe her marriage as "happy".

Commenting on her husband, she said: "Nothing's under the surface with him. Nothing's a problem, everything's easy and comfortable. He's a genuine, nice person."
