Fiona Phillips unhappy with C4 newsreader

The former GMTV host introduced home secretary Alan Johnson at the Brighton event last Tuesday.
Writing in her column for The Mirror, Phillips revealed: "Apparently, Channel 4's smug Krishnan Guru-Murthy - apologies if you haven't a clue who he is - reckons [I] was 'excruciating'."
She added: "I think it's always best not to take yourself too seriously, Krishnan, don't you? Still, thanks for your constructive criticism.
"Next time I'm asked to do a performance which requires me to be wooden and devoid of any wit or personality, I'll ask for your advice."
Phillips stepped down from GMTV to spend more time with her family last December.
