Amy Winehouse's fortune has dropped by £9 million in the past year, a report claims.

According to the Daily Star, new accounts show that the troubled singer's bank balance plunged from £10m to £1m in the last 12 months.

It is thought that Winehouse has made much less cash recently because of her break from touring and slow progress of the follow-up to her 2006 album Back To Black.

She has also reportedly blown much of her earnings on wild nights out and foreign holidays.

A source said: "Amy's voice has made her a fortune but her lifestyle costs a lot to maintain. There is still cash coming in from royalties. But a new album or tour would really help top up her coffers."

Winehouse was recently said to have reunited with ex-partner Blake Fielder-Civil.
