The 23-year-old recently negotiated a deal to collaborate with Emanuel Ungaro's chief designer on a forthcoming range, which made its debut during Paris Fashion Week on Sunday.
Several fashion outlets have since slammed the Mean Girls star's collection, E! reports.
Women's Wear Daily called the clothing line "cheesy and dated", while Style.com said that the runway show "devolved into a bad joke of a fashion show, one with questionable colour combinations, 'bad '80s' draped silk jackets and drop-crotch pants, old-fashioned and ill-judged fur stoles, and, yes, tasteless sequin pasties".
However, the site went on to offer a more sympathetic report, adding: "To be fair, [Ungaro designer Estrella Archs] had just about a month to design the collection."
Lohan reportedly burst into tears on the runway during the showing, later admitting backstage that creating the designs was "the hardest thing I've ever done".
