Walsh: 'Cowell party was best ever'

Louis Walsh has claimed that Simon Cowell's 50th was the best party he has ever attended.

The X Factor judge described the celebrations, which took place on Saturday, as "crazy".

"Oh, it was fantastic. It was like a crazy, crazy dream," he told The Mirror. "All these crazy people. It was one of the best parties, if not the best party I was ever at.

"He's officially old now. He's 50. How can he judge these young kids [on The X Factor]?"

When asked what present he bought for Cowell, the Irish music mogul joked: "I got him a mirror. A mirror that makes him look taller and better looking. It's a trick mirror."
