Klum 'to legally change last name'

Heidi Klum is to legally change her last name to that of her husband Seal's.

The Project Runway presenter has filed paperwork to take her spouse's last name as her own, E! reports.

The 36-year-old's surname would then be Samuel, if her petition is approved. She has been married to the 'Kiss From A Rose' singer for over four years and the pair are expecting their third child together.

According to court documents, Klum will know on November 20 if the formal request is to be made official or not.

Klum and Seal recently renewed their wedding vows with a 'white trash'-themed ceremony in California last May.
