The 'Forever And Always' singer said that she does not believe in restricting what she eats to keep in shape, preferring exercise such as running.
She told Look magazine: "I don't really do any exercise, other than running. Exercise isn't something I like doing. I eat healthily, but I refuse to use the term 'diet'."
The 19-year-old continued: "There was a time when I thought, 'I got to get in shape man, I'm going on a diet'. And then I realised that's ridiculous. I'm happy with how I look - if I want a cheeseburger, it's going to happen.
"For me, working out is not so I can get skinny. It's so that I can keep up my endurance so I'm not panting on stage. Heavy breathing is the worst when you're in concert."
