Kaplinsky expecting second child

Natasha Kaplinsky is expecting her second child, her spokeswoman has confirmed.

The newsreader and husband Justin Bower welcomed son Arlo last September and recently told family and friends about the second pregnancy.

"Yes, it's true. And they're both delighted," Kaplinsky's spokeswoman told The Mirror, adding: "She'll be keeping busy."

Kaplinsky reduced her Five News workload after returning from maternity leave earlier this year and is yet to comment on her future commitments to the broadcaster.

The 37-year-old joined Five from the BBC in February 2008, signing a reported seven-figure contract.
