Lachey 'upset about snatched Simpson dog'

Nick Lachey has admitted that he was "upset" to learn that ex-wife Jessica Simpson's dog had been snatched by a coyote.

The Dukes Of Hazzard actress, who split from Lachey in 2005, was left devastated after her Maltipoo Daisy was taken by the animal last month.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, he said: "I think a lot of people forget that Daisy was my dog too - for years.

"I didn't reach out to her. I'm sure she was upset... I was upset... It was sad to hear that happened, but it's part of the cycle of life."

Lachey bought the puppy for Simpson in 2004.
