Chantelle pulled over in police 'mix-up'

Chantelle Houghton was reportedly pulled over by police after being wrongly accused of drink driving this week.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner was travelling home following a meal with Peter Andre and other friends when she was stopped by officers, The Sun reports.

It is thought that Houghton had not consumed any alcohol and was allowed to continue driving once the police realised they had been misinformed.

The star's spokeswoman Claire Powell confirmed: "Chantelle is on a new diet which involves her only drinking grapefruit water and that's what she'd been drinking all night.

"The police told her they'd been informed she'd had alcohol and should pull her over. But after they breathalysed her it was clear she hadn't touched a drop."

Reports suggest that Houghton's night out saw a confrontation between Andre and one of Katie Price's friends.
