Miley Cyrus deletes Twitter account

Miley Cyrus has reportedly deleted her Twitter account after hinting that rumoured boyfriend Liam Hemsworth did not approve.

The Hannah Montana star had been one of the most prolific celebrity Twitter users before her account was removed this week.

According to People, the teenage star's last post read: "FYI, Liam doesn't have a Twitter and he wants me to delete mine with good reason."

However, her followers have now started a campaign to convince Cyrus to return to the social blogging network and 'Miley Cyrus Come Back' is currently the number one trending topic on the site.

Cyrus, who has been romantically linked to her Last Song co-star Hemsworth, has yet to comment.

Her sister Brandi and brother Trace are still tweeting.
