Lachey, Minnillo 'have patched things up'

Nick Lachey has confirmed speculation that he has reunited with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, according to Us Weekly.

The singer split with Minnillo in June following a three-year relationship, but recent reports had suggested that they had rekindled their romance.

Speaking on Good Day Philadelphia, he said: "I am happy in a relationship.

"I was single for a minute there but then we've kind of patched things up... She's a very smart girl. She's far smarter than I am."

Lachey recently admitted that he was "upset" to learn that ex-wife Jessica Simpson's dog had been snatched by a coyote.
