The 'LoveGame' singer confirmed that she will be at the National Equality March in Washington this weekend and urged fans to follow suit.
"On October 10 and 11, I will be in Washington, DC to lend my support to the National Equality March," Angry Ape quotes GaGa as saying.
"This march is a call to action for all people from all over the country to gather to march to be visible as one and to speak out and demand full equal rights for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered citizens in all 50 states."
She added: "If we see ourselves as free and equal people, then we need to act as free and equal people. Now is the time to act so get your ass to DC and lend your support. Lend your voice and demand to be heard. I hope to see you there."
