Federline 'owes thousands in unpaid rent'

Kevin Federline has reportedly got into $110,000 (£69,000) of debt after abandoning his Los Angeles home without paying rent or covering damages.

The dancer, who has two sons with ex-wife Britney Spears, angered landlords by allegedly disappearing without paying the last six months of rent and leaving the property in an uninhabitable state.

A source told Bang Showbiz: "The landlord was distraught when he saw the state of the house. Everything was broken and even the garden lampposts were bent."

The owner of the property has apparently sent a letter to the 31-year-old demanding compensation and threatening legal action.

Federline's spokesperson said: "His agent, manager and lawyer no longer work for him. None of us have any idea what is going on."
