Keira Knightley to make West End debut

Keira Knightley will reportedly make her West End debut in a modern-day version of The Misanthrope.

She will be joined in the production by Royal Shakespeare Company and National Theatre actor Damian Lewis, who will take on the title role, Metro reports.

Knightley's character is said to be a flirtatious Hollywood film star and the love interest of Lewis's role.

Tara Fitzgerald, Dominic Rowan and Tim McMullan are also scheduled to star.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean actress has apparently begun working with a voice coach and has had singing lessons ahead of the official opening night at the Comedy Theatre on December 17.
