Spears ex faces a year in jail

Britney Spears's former boyfriend Adnan Ghalib has pleaded no contest to leaving the scene of an accident where a man who was serving him with a restraining order was injured.

Ghalib now faces up to a year in county jail.

The incident occurred when Spears's father took out a temporary restraining order against his daughter's ex.

As the victim attempted to serve Ghalib with the papers, the accused drove his car at the official.

The man jumped onto the vehicle's bonnet, before falling off and breaking his wrist.

Ghalib then drove away. Two other felony counts are to be dismissed when the photographer is sentenced next month because of his guilty plea.
