Williams: 'Children are on the way'

Robbie Williams has claimed that he wants to have children with his girlfriend Ayda Field.

Showbiz Spy reports that the singer wants to start a family in the next few years.

"I was always thinking, 'How am I going to keep the old chap in the pants?'" he joked. "But Ayda and me are very loved up - kids on the way and all that business.

"Ayda wants to get married. I believe that I want to make her happy. I've kind of been putting back the children thing, but that will happen in the next couple of years."

Williams explained that he realised that he wants children when he went house-hunting with Field.

"We went to Wiltshire and Ayda and I were looking at places to rent there," he said. "Then we saw this house and it was gorgeous. And we walked in and the thought of having kids just hit us.

"We can see the kids running around the halls and all that business. We did a proper impulse buy."

Reports recently claimed that Field does not want to get married.
