In Pictures: Stephen Gately

Earlier today it was reported that Stephen Gately had died while on holiday in Majorca. Born in Dublin in 1976, Gately joined Boyzone upon their formation in 1993 and remained with the chart-topping group until their split seven years later. He went on to release a solo album and make numerous stage and TV appearances before re-joining Boyzone for their 2008 comeback tour. He is survived by his partner Andrew Cowles, whom he wed in a civil ceremony in 2006.
