Gately's death 'not suspicious'

Stephen Gately's death does not appear to be suspicious, it has been reported.

The Boyzone singer died in his sleep after a night out on the island of Majorca.

A spokesman for the Spanish police revealed that the 33-year-old passed away at 1.45pm on Saturday in his house in Port Andratx.

They stated: "At the moment, it is not known how he died. There are no signs of suspicious circumstances."

The star was on holiday with partner Andrew Cowles, whom he married in a civil ceremony in 2006. Gately's bandmates are reported to have flown out to the island this morning.
