Edmonds 'uses taxi to avoid traffic'

According to the Sunday Mirror, the Deal Or No Deal presenter was sighted driving in bus lanes on four occasions over the course of three days last week.
Staff at the Bristol studios where Edmonds films his quiz show said that the star purchased the taxi specifically so he could avoid getting caught up in congestion.
Licensed cabs are permitted to drive in bus lanes, but the 60-year-old TV host's vehicle has not been registered since 2007.
A Deal Or No Deal source commented: "He's quite blatant about using bus lanes.
"It's not as if he just dips in and out of the bus lanes, he drives in them whenever he can and only joins normal traffic if there isn't one.
"He looks a bit like a cabbie by wrapping up in a scarf and fleece, always pulling both of the taxi visors down and wearing a pair of sunglasses."
The fine for illegally driving in a bus lane is £60.
