Yankees wives 'banned from trashing Hudson'

The significant others of the New York Yankees baseball team have reportedly been banned from criticising Kate Hudson, who is dating Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.

The New York Post has reported that after alleged "coldness" between Hudson and player Derek Jeter's girlfriend Minka Kelly, the team's partners have been ordered to stop "trashing" the 30-year-old actress.

A source said: "The Yankees told the girls to be careful who they spoke to about Kate. They are concerned about the ramifications for the players."

Hudson recently dismissed rumours that she was expecting a baby with Rodriguez.
