Messenger: 'Price didn't murder anyone'

Melinda Messenger has complained about the media's treatment of Katie Price.

The Live At Studio Five presenter claimed that Price has been the subject of negative coverage since her split from husband Peter Andre.

"I feel she's been vilified," Now quotes Messenger as saying. "What has she actually done that's so awful apart from go out and have a good time?

"You could condemn her for doing that if she was neglecting her kids, but she's not... she shouldn't be treated like this. She's not murdered anybody."

She added: "It's quite childish that everyone's taking sides - all this 'Team Peter', 'Team Katie' stuff. I like Peter - he's a great guy - but let's allow them both to get on with their lives and make a new relationship for the sake of their kids."

Messenger has previously said that Price is entitled to move on from Andre.
