Mischa Barton 'loves New York City'

Mischa Barton has revealed that she plans to remain living in New York City.

The 23-year-old actress has said that despite having her show The Beautiful Life cancelled, she will stay living in Manhattan because it is one of her favourite cities, reports the New York Post.

Barton said: "I grew up in the city, so there's a lot to love about it. All my close friends are here. I feel it's a fun city to lay low in and you get treated right."

As to what her next career move might be, she added: "There's a bunch of projects I always wanted to make, so I'm going back to thinking about things again. I just started looking at films."
