Lindsay Lohan's brother lands movie role

Lindsay Lohan's younger brother has landed his first major film role.

Lohan's brother Michael has previously appeared in his sister's 1998 movie The Parent Trap, as a lost boy in summer camp.

According to Teen Hollywood, the 21-year-old has taken a break from attending college in New York to pursue Hollywood.

Their mother Dina Lohan has confirmed that her son is currently working on a film.

She said: "Lindsay's brother Michael is on academic scholarship at Ithaca college. He's also doing a movie."

Lohan's father recently announced that he was planning to stage an intervention to save his daughter.
