Bell: 'Brand is not a womaniser'

Kristen Bell has said that Russell Brand treats women with respect despite his "womaniser" reputation.

The actress, who starred with Brand in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, said that the 34-year-old comedian's image as a ladies' man is just a front.

Bell told Bang Showbiz: "I might be the only woman in the world who speaks about him like this but Russell is not who he says he is. Maybe it's because I'm as sassy as he is and I drew my line very quickly, but he was extremely respectful to me."

The 29-year-old continued: "We had to do love scenes and he was always concerned that the sheet was pulled up far enough. If I needed water he would get up and get it so I didn't have to get out of bed in my underwear in front of the crew. He was very nice."

Brand recently revealed that he is "in love" with singer Katy Perry and would love to settle down with her.
