Montag 'wants to be next Octomom'

Audrina Patridge has suggested that her Hills co-star Heidi Montag wants to be "the next Octomom".

The reality star claimed that Montag is desperate to have a large family like Nadya Suleman, dubbed 'Octomom' by the press after she gave birth to octuplets in January.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Patridge said: "She said she wanted to be the next Octomom! I was like, 'Heidi, no you don't!'"

Patridge added that even though Montag's husband Spencer Pratt did not want to start a family yet, the couple are stronger than ever.

"They're really close," she explained. "They're inseparable. I think if anything, [marriage] has helped them in a lot of ways."

Montag has previously spoken out about her desire to be a mother, while Pratt has frequently insisted that he is not ready to have children.
