Perry's ex 'jealous of Brand romance'

Katy Perry's ex-lover has apparently told friends that he is jealous of her new romance with comedian Russell Brand.

Gym Class Heroes star Travis McCoy, who has had an on/off relationship with the singer for several years, allegedly believes that the new romance has no chance of lasting because the pair are too different.

MTV quotes a friend of McCoy as saying: "He's livid, but getting a sick kick out of the idea their relationship will go under due to Russell's philandering."

Perry, 24, was recently rumoured to be wanting to introduce her new boyfriend to her evangelical Christian parents. Brand has previously admitted to being a sex addict and has also battled drug addiction.
