Simpson: 'Dog meant the world to me'

Jessica Simpson has spoken out about the loss of her pet dog, admitting that it is still difficult to discuss the event.

The Dukes Of Hazzard actress was left devastated after Maltipoo Daisy was snatched by a coyote in September.

Speaking to Us Weekly, she said: "Daisy meant the world to me.

"I hold her memory very, very close. It was an unfortunate thing what happened. That I don't have her every day... It's a very hard thing to talk about."

She added: "I haven't really thought about another dog yet, but maybe sometime. [Daisy] would want that."

Simpson was bought the puppy by ex-husband Nick Lachey, who recently admitted that he had been upset to learn about her disappearance.
