Barat to narrate London Docks film

Carl Barat has narrated and starred in a new documentary about the death of the London Docks.

No Place/Good Place: The Rime Of The Modern Mariner is scheduled to premiere at the East End Film Festival next April, according to NME.

The film focuses on the myths, superstitions and folklore surrounding the history of the docks. It is expected to screen in selected London cinemas as well as festivals across Europe and the USA.

The documentary's score was composed by Barat's former Dirty Pretty Things bandmate, guitarist Anthony Rossomando.

Barat recently revealed that he is "too busy" to re-form the Libertines next year, having already agreed to star in two London plays and continue work on his upcoming solo album.
