Andre admits to losing temper with Reid

Peter Andre has claimed that he lost his temper with Alex Reid after being told that he could not speak to his children.

The singer admitted on This Morning that he was "only human" and had been pushed to the limit after Katie Price's new flame allegedly refused to let him talk to his kids.

Andre also denied claims purportedly made by Reid on Facebook that he had branded the cage fighter a "tranny and druggie" during the telephone conversation.

"For five days I wasn't allowed to speak to my kids and the night before last I got on the phone and said I wanted to speak to my kids and this man refused me," he said.

"I'm not perfect, I'm only human but I don't know any father who wouldn't react to that. I just want to move on. My kids are my life. The only way to push my buttons is to not let me speak to my kids or see them. This man should not have tried to act like their dad."

According to The Sun, Price has now defended Reid on a Twitter posting which reads: "Pete said I'm gonna break your f***king legs, watch your back. Nice Pete in front of kids!"

The glamour model, who was granted a divorce from the singer last month, also claimed that Andre is "not the sweet guy that he always portrays".
